Just listened to the Ev joint, why is it so short :stopitslime:

shyt is hard though, feeling Evs confidence.

This De La song is dope too, would love to hear them make an album with the Soul Council on some straight up rap shyt again.

I always said that should be a thing

Do a soul council album

De la soul

Twista

Lord's of the underground (I think they started one but never finished)

Even some R&B

Donell Jones

Dave Hollister

:wow:

I know a lot of ya'll were :patrice: on Khrysis' rhyming on the lead single, but IMO he at least holds his own here with Monch and Busta

Just listening through now, I’m really liking this Devil Wears Designer joint a lot.

Shame Conway wasn’t featured on the album.

I think there was a Conway and also a Paak joint that were last minute hopefuls, that didn't make it due to possibly being saved for other projects. I was hoping for it too. I definitely put Jesus Khrysis as a bonus on my version here. Machine and McQueen fits really well too, since Conway and Elzhi is exactly the kind of track you might hear on a producer compilation album.

You heard Ian Kelly or Reuben Vincent before? They're pretty dope.

Ian just dropped an album this year produced by Eric G, and he was on 5 joints on 9th's last project, Zion V.

This album is gonna be mad overlooked this year. It's a shame. A lot of producer compilation albums have a tendency to sound a little bit scattered, due to so many different artists, and potentially different sounds to cater to them.

This album sounds very cohesive and organized. Which is especially impressive, because this album began recording before 2010, and a few of songs on here are 9-10 years old. Other joints were made here in 2021. I think for this album to have songs that span that much time, and have to all sound fresh and up to date, is really dope.

The whole album sounds fresh to me. The production is top notch.

I'm on my first spin. So far the beats all sounds great, but all the songs aren't grabbing me if that makes sense.

I'm on The Code now and this song, Colombian Necktie and The Return are the only joints I've felt compelled to run back, but I'm sure on more listens I'll latch on to more of the tracks.
