I know you’re always contributing to Khrysis threads here breh.
:salute: I’d have it in mind to tag you when it drops either way.

No doubt. I remember after I got put on LB next was all the Justus League tapes and shyt like The Away Team and Edgar Allen Floe etc. I'll always check for anyone from the camp or affiliated

Speaking of minor affiliations - you up on Kev Brown (Low Budget crew)? He just dropped something with a UK breh called SonnyJim. Kev on the beats, Sonny on the bars. I'm not up on the rapper, but Kev is still killing it on the boards and its nice.

I have no heard this new Kev Brown. I'll check out out. I'm a big Low Budget fan. The whole crew, but especially Kenn Starr, Oddisee, and Kev Brown.

Fill in the Blank by Kev Brown was one of my favorite albums of 2018. It was mostly beats, with some occasional raps. And I even think Kev is a pretty dope producer-rapper. He's kind of straightforward and not overly complex, but his flow is smooth and his voice is dope. There's a joint on there called Camouflage Bucket Hats that I still bump a lot.

I'll check out this new project with SonnyJim.

The title track on Fill in the Blank is still in regular rotation for me. Kev is probably in my Top 10 producers list. Very few producers can be that simple but still so distinct and create a vibe like him.

Khrysis shyt always bumps, have you got the tracklist?

He should stay in his lane though, I hate it when dope producers decide to rap over their own beats when their raps are only mid.
There's a joint on here where he raps alongside Busta and Monch, and he actually holds his own and sounds really dope. But I agree with you. I think that could've been a smart single to drop first. I have a feeling (based on the single) that some people might think this is going to be an album of him rapping on the whole thing, and in reality he's only rapping on maybe 2 or 3 songs on the whole album, including the single you already heard.
