That's how my Nigerian coworkers explained it to me. A good honest convo about Pan Africanism.
Your coworkers speak for all Nigerians now ? Wtf

I didn't say that. I said we had an honest conversation about Pan Africanism which he is one. He was taking his family to task for not being unified. A few others agreed that it was pushed by older Africans. The concept of blackness in Africa is 20th century. Prior to that it was pure tribal.Your coworkers speak for all Nigerians now ? Wtf
Isn’t it funny it’s only internet nikkas that don’t like Tariq. But real people regardless of where they fall on the diaspora rock with him
Lineage is important, but we are Black Americans/ADOS.
We've always had outwardly/visibly mixed Black people in our lineage.
Black Americans on the whole average 10-30% European, a jumbled mix of differing African countries - west to east, and some indigenous peoples DNA (at least for my DNA).
Also, a significant portion of Black men have European paternal haplogroups as well and not African paternal haplogroups. In other words, a sizeable portion of Black American men have a European Y-chromosome and an African X-chromosome.
Any woman we produce with we'll always pass down that European Y-chromosome to our male sons.
When you go into detail on Black American lineage/history, we are distinct enough to classify ourselves as our own ethnic group. It'd be hard to just put us in a tribe in Africa/Europe because we are our own unique tribe.
America is our lineage whether we like it or not.

Tariq doesn't dislike African or carribean
He simply value his ethnicity first
Ironically that the same thing Africans and carribeans do.
They just don't want black Americans to do it, cause they benefit off us being one big group and not our own specific ethnicity
Big factsMfs insecure asf about being non FBA. You can literally see that they feel like leeches. All that foreign pride went out the window. Sad as hell.
