I literately worked for one back in the day. I could barely get any enrollments because I was often questioned about our accreditation. Miraculously, I lasted a year there.

Them shyts are damn near obsolete now. Majority of traditional brick and mortar schools that are accredited are now online. Grand Canyon, Western Governors, Liberty & a few others that push online classes heavy are federally accredited.
Them devry & university of phoenix schools are in the bushes these days

There's a difference between a set of courses (a curriculum) and placement standard...It's sad I have to break this down. Reading, writing, math and science are GLOBAL. If you grow up in the Philippines or India and you study trigonometry and calculus...guess what, when you go anywhere on the planet...It's the same. You can take a math test, reading test, writing test anywhere in the world and be ranked within your age group.
A curriculum is group of courses, I.e, your school system has a set number of hours in its curriculum that it wants your child to go to gym, study music, learn foreign language, learn computers, etc. Gym, music, computers, foreign language, drama, home ed, automotive, etc are all electives---they aren't core classes, core classes are again math, reading, science, writing. Every school system in your state has a different curriculum, other wise every single school in your state and every single school in the country would be a carbon copy. You do realize different schools in your city, state and all across the country teach different courses, have different lengths of classes...
Accreditation doesn't mean what you guys think...you realize that schools across the United States pay money for standardized tests right? Those tests aren't free. The tests aren't written by the teachers in the school and printed out on paper. Sending your kid to public school, that you pay taxes for, youre buying the tests for your kid and every other student, which is why you think they are free.
Y'all need to go to parent teacher conferences or some parent teacher Association meetings...this is basic shyt.

Your high school grades play a role in college applications as well. Furthermore, graduation gets you a HS diploma which is important.
Asians and Africans who come to America go to accredited schools, graduate high school, and then go to a university. What are you talking about?
Your high schools don't "play a role". They pay for a role. AP classes, college prep courses, those are paid for. The school district pays for those, with tax dollars.

FDMG will be in the middle of a low income neighborhood, fully funded by broke single mothers, and have a gun club, bike club, hunting club, farm, flight school, book club, and sports cafe. Umar is insane/delusional

I'm not caping. The argument is wrong.
There's no such thing as an "accredited school", schools pay for accreditation. All the asset tests, placement tests, those come from outside of the school. The teachers don't write them, the staff in the schools or school districts don't write them.
The schools pay for them.
If a school district said "next year due to budget cuts or whatever we aren't paying, if you want your kid to take these tests, you can pay out of your own pocket!" The school would lose its 'accreditation' but the students would still taught and learn everything per normal, only difference is instead of you buying the test for the school and the school administering the test, you buy the test strictly for your child.
Accreditation isnt this killing argument that people think it is....
If you teach your 8 years old math and they learn calculus...and you send your kid back to school and obviously they are the smartest 8 year, they don't say "she's smart, but this isn't accredited calculus!" She will be able to take a test (either the school will pay, or you will) and she'll probably be given options regarding her education, skipping grades,etc
