I'm sitting here watching the movie, and i said to myself "I can see some nerd-ass, big bang theory-ass nerds singing this song dressed up as wizards."

moment of the movie that had me questioning the entirety of it. After that, it got piff. Someone was tellin me this book was aimed for kids, more than LOTR was. I can see that in the sing-songy shyt and moments like with the trolls.

It has its cute, funny moments, but it's slow, boring, overlong, poorly paced, and you tell that it's just stalling for time while they set up the next two sequels.
