I choose to believe he was trying (and failing) to look like his old jumpy self during interviews. Trying to go back to his old, excitable, hyper 'Anvil' character, but he lost his touch and it just doesn't come across natural anymore. That's all.

This is a gimmick fail and nothing more. And don't try to tell me otherwise because I ain't hearin' it.
