Havent seen Revenant yet, seems like some boring, pretentious "gritty" sh1t with an average actor sold as a GOAT by getting "gritty". People say the visuals are good so I'll probably check it out.

The Revenant was WAY WAY better than Hateful 8.

I'm a big Tarantino fan, but at this point he's just making movies with violence for the sake of violence.
Hateful 8 wasn't as good as Django...and Django wasn't as good as Inglourious Basterds.

The Revenant had amazing photography (to be fair, Hateful 8 did have great photography also).
The acting in The Revenant was also better....even if there were long periods with little/no speech.
I'm a little surprised at how much I liked this movie considering I thought Birdman was overrated as fukk. Well done, Inarritu.
