Its just funny how people who are NOT black and the media love bringing up Mayweathers past.....but the fact Manny Paq has cheated on his wife, fukked various prostitiues and has gambling debts up to his eye balls NEVER seems to come up...shyt is comical....the media paints a picture of Floyd being a villan and they could easily do the same to manny...

None of this adds up to women beating. Manny is not a saint himself but I doubt BSPN will bring out his demons before the fight next Saturday. It just the game the media plays before a big event. Need the hero and the villain

It's Mayweather that understands this "good vs evil" dynamic better anybody else, and i don't think that he cares if 50% of the population doesn't like him. He saw that Arum trying to brand him as a "Pretty Boy" wasn't more profitable then the "Money" persona That's why he was so adamant on promoting himself.

because their names arent floyd mayweather. hes BY FAR the biggest name in a sport where very few of these fighters (only 2?) these days are household names. a married athlete dikking some other broad isnt news or nor is some guy who fights on friday night fights beating up his woman. a guy who is a habitual woman beater who gets paid obscene sums of cash to take part in a violent sport is going to get the headlines, good and bad, the bad particularly by women. especially in the weeks leading up to the most publicized and lucrative event of his career. boxing is as fringe a sport as it gets. no one gives a shyt about anyone or anything not named floyd mayweather. people cant be this obtuse
its like in the jaret stoll thread where people were wondering where all the media coverage of a hockey player being a coke head was. its because it was fukking hockey, no one knows who he is, the sports never gets coverage anyways, and no no one gives a shyt. it only registered a blip because he is fukking erin andrews, who is known by far more sports fans. jim lampley hitting a woman and manny pacquiao fukking other women arent beating out floyd mayweather for headlines. lets get real here

Personally idgaf what a fighter does in their personal life. All im saying is that Manny isnt squeaky clean either but that is NEVER dicussed in the media, im not saying one is worse then the other im just saying its funny that Mannys past is NEVER brought up EVER. Their are even people in his home country who are accusing of having other political figures assassinated...but its never talked about...I think its because Floyd is a proud flamboyant black man, thats why...they want him to be seen as a villan.

Sure we can agree that he transformed from PBF to Floyd Money May so he could be better marketed. But what I am talking about is the way the media chooses to attack him. Even Andre Ward was on hot 97 the other day saying how the media tried to do the same thing to him initially when he first came out and paint him as villain(even though Ward is a Christian man with a family and has been with the same girl since he was 15 yrs old), Ward is also another young black successful man. I feel as if their is no coincidence, the media paints black successful men as demons (at least int he world of boxing and sports).
But I guess maybe im just paranoid, we can agree to disagree on the issue fam
