WWE must have told Matt they wanted too much money. They'll be back sooner than later though. A contract with ROH isn't worth the paper it's written on.

I don't think Vince would have allowed them to use the broken Matt gimmick they probably only wanted them for their nostalgia factor. The "WWE universe " only knows them as they were and after the mis use of bubba ray the Hardys were probably like fukk that.
