Only time will tell, and I love McConkey, and Alt has been great, but I hope that ‘bookend LT’ was worth it. Nabers as Herbert’s #1, with this defense, has this team legit contending. As it stands they’re a nice story but Ladd is a #2, they have no speed, and they’re pidgeon holing a top 5 talent at QB in his prime to just a plus game manager

WR might be the deepest position in the league right now, it's just easier to find a great one than a great tackle. If I had to choose between AJ Brown or Lane Johnson in their prime with a top 5 pick I'm taking Lane without hesitation, I'll find a WR.

A new regime also can't plug every hole in one offseason, Buffalo should feel that pressure because they've been on the doorstep with Josh multiple times. Main priority in year one for Harbaugh was to not have Herbert be surrounded by disfunction.
