looks like that area is totally gentrified. especially when u see :bryan: come out at the end looking like "why are these ******s in front of my buildling".

There was only one white person in the whole thing. How could you tell by that?

I have to say bruh. Street nikkaz fukked with Pac. I didn't give a shyt about what the media had to say. That's why his legend jumped the way it did. Real nikkaz kept that alive. Everybody else jumped on the bandwagon. I truly been fukking with Pac since Same Son . A lot of people are MATW and on fans. His legend grew as his popularity soared. I see a lot of nikkaz scream gangsta. He wasn't tho. What he did was "real nikka shyt". nikkaz can hate all they want. There's not too many ppl period that would do the shyt he did. Big was nice tho.
Word.
But you have remember how much power the media and MTV had in those days. They could make/break careers but also shape perceptions. Pac was definitely more popular on the streets and among socially conscious nikkas because he wasn't just rapping about cars, jewelry and shyt. That's what made him extra controversial with the media.
Unfortunately, controversial nikkas only become safe for cacs when they're dead (or incapacitated like Ali):beli:

When I first moved to LA almost three years ago, one of the first things I did was make sort of a "Hajj" (pilgrimage) to where Big was shot.

I lived near MacArthur Park on Wilshire BLVD and walked to the corner of Fairfax & Wilshire - approximately 5 miles - just to honor the GOAT.
To take this even further, where Biggie got shot at I remember years back we were out so late. He stopped on Wilshire and just sat in the location where he got murdered. Eerie feeling. What's even more crazy is a Death Row Records office was located across the street on the left hand side. Maybe a few offices down. Never forget that shyt
