Can’t even lie I was a little underwhelmed when this first dropped and it took a little while to get into. I had a copy on reserve at Sam Goody. My cousin took me to the mall and copped it. When we got back to the crib we hurried and threw the disc in. Looked at the liner notes

The nikka had the lyrics in print for us

But then we noticed the lack of Pete Rock and Large Professor. Only one Primo track

I thought it was dope but still a little disappointed. A little too polished for what we expected. To much Trackmasters and the Dre track was wack. Havoc came thru tho. But over time I went on to love this album. It’s my second favorite Nas album behind Illmatic
