You don't "go" for a guillotine. When you can't stuff the takedown and you have nothing else in your arsenal you try to shut your opponent down. Conor couldn't defend, nor could he put himself in a good offensive position to get some strikes in or gain control. Also his stand-up game was shut the fukk down. Only thing he could do was grab on and squeeze as hard as he could and hope Dustin tapped.
