Fans don't have a problem with defence, we have a problem with soft and non-aggressive offence...If boxing is going to come down to "fighting for points" then they might as well start wearing the sparring gear and box Olympic style...
Somebody needs to design sparring gear and gloves with electronic sensors that can accurately score clean shots to target areas, and let boxers fight for points that way...
