not really a fan of wes anderson and after watching this im still not really a fan

Just finished watching this..
I am a huge Wes Anderson fan, and this movie did not disappoint at all. This movie is like Rushmore,Mr.fox, with a touch of darjeeling limited all mashed together with a new Wes concept(if that makes sense). Just a really, really good movie.
Ralph Fiennes was phenomenal in this movie. It really sucks this movie came out in March. B/c Ralph is not going to get any Oscar love. And he really deserves it for the job he did in this movie. This movie does not work without him.
And the music through out this movie was classic Wes. I just looked up the composer. Alexandre Desplat, job well done. I actually thought it was Mark Mothersbaugh as I was watching. Crazy Dsplat kept that Anderson theme.
Not going to rank this movies in my favourite Anderson movies,. B/c I just watched it, but hell of a movie.
I will vote 5 in your poll @Uncle_Ruckus tho..

its in my top 3.. i'm watching it again already. i think it'll have a lot more replay value than his others to me..and i'm a huge fan of royal tenenbaums and rushmore. I even liked darjeeling limited which a lot of people didn't.
This movie is even funnier on 2nd viewing.
and yes fiennes was awesome..worthy of oscar nom.. i dont think he has THAT scene in it which would win but def worthy of a nom.

He definitely deserves it.. i just worry that the academy will forget about this movie by the time oscar season rolls around since it came out so early
The academy is going to overlook Ralph, It is what it is. The movie just came out to early. I really hope they do not, b/c Ralph Fiennes is bloody amazing in this movie.

I also hope Alexandre Desplat get's some love from the academy on score, tho that might be reaching. The music in this movie is just so brilliant.

Just saw this on HBO. This replace Birdman as the best Oscar movie I've seen. The funniest part to me is them talking in those phony English accents then just say something totally American. Very unpredictable in what was going to happen. Pretty much flawless in my book

I really loved this movie...I wasn't too keen on Moonrise Kingdom but Wes redeemed himself with Grand Budapest. I really hope this movie wins

I liked Moonrise Kingdom a lot, didn't like this. I didn't really care about the characters and the visuals weren't that memorable either.
