so for years, I had what I thought was a "brilliant" idea for a tv show. I won't get into all the details, but it centered on a character named Peter (hint) and it was set in a really working class, not quite paradise version of heaven. I researched the hell out of it, and just couldn't figure out the exact story i wanted for the pilot. I named it "A Better Place" and let if collect e-dust... then i saw this trailer.

(i know, I'm no one, it doesn't matter, but i'm still salty b/c even if i write it now, they're gonna think i copied this in many ways, and i'm mocking it with the title.)

I'm glad I stuck with Superstore, it's pretty good, but The Good Place has the potential to be great.

I think it's the only fall show I picked up this year.
