I don't think it really matters what they give up if they can find a way to keep Kuminga. Curry's gonna be 37 by the time the playoffs roll around, they clearly want to try to make a run at one more deep playoff run before it all falls apart and Markkanen is a legit second option/big so he's exactly what they need.
