Playing football is already dangerous af at 60 minutes, you start giving extra possessions it’s gonna get worse. What’s crazy is that the rule changed because of the Saints/Vikings OT game 10 years ago

True, but the NFL doesn't give a damn about the players' health unless it's a QB or to shut somebody up when they're being sued.

But, these teams have 50-55 man rosters, only starting less than half of them. Put the depth to the test.
