I don't know if anyone mentioned 'clout' but nothing in the $40K-$80K range is gonna wow anyone. People will spend their last dollar to own a $60K vehicle. Everyone has them now.

That’s why I said no one is buying it for clout, they’d be buying it because they like it or because, despite their boring design, they’re dependable cars.

and plenty of people buy entry level luxury cars for clout. There are still plenty of circles where people will puff their chests and get props for whipping a C300 simply because it’s a Benz.
