:snoop: Patty Jenkins. Brandon Routh. That's all Warner needs to do.

Screw it though, we're gonna get Routh a role in the MCU. WB will have egg on their face once again.

If the Wolverine franchise can pull off a Logan, there is still a classic here to be made. It's all on finding right team and story, Cavill is the right Superman.

With the same vibe as MOS, I'm there first day:banderas:

I'm there day 1 if they bring Cavill back. He was a damn good Superman, and I generally don't like Superman's boy scout ass...although I liked Man of Steel, they should borderline act like nothing exists from previous movies...

I think Brainiac is a bit ambitious and can potentially be done as an arc because Darkseid seems like a no go considering him and Thanos are very similar in nature.

Either way...Day 1 if they bring Cavill back. They sat on this property too long and should've have a sequel on the docket for this year or next.

I don’t think they were ever trying to replace him, WB just gave up on developing another Superman movie
I believe there was a money dispute regarding him appearing in Shazam. They couldn't agree so he wasn't in it and then considered on thin ice regarding the role moving forward. I think his management was asking for money like he was one of the leading men in Hollywood, this was like right before MI was gonna drop and he was getting real good reviews for his involvement.
