How comfortably can you live in Atlanta making say, 70k ish a year. No kids, no major debt?

More specifically one of the outskirt suburb type areas. Which of those said places would be the best fit for someone who doesn't like the fast Hollywood hustle bustle big city lifestyle (More of a country born homebody). But would like to have access to nice things without traffic strangling you underwater? Or dealing with a bunch of crime and fukkery.


I realized the question might be a little contradictory considering area in question.

We had a couples night out with some friends of ours on a Saturday night, we get there and as soon as we get there they let us know we’ll have 90 minutes to eat. So I’m thinking that’s a little weird to time how long someone eats but ok cool. If you’re gonna time me and my group our food better be good and served to us in a timely way. It wasn’t. Our server was slow and dull. The food, which is exceptionally overpriced, was mediocre. Now I don’t mind paying a lot for a good night out and my wife and I frequent nice restaurants all over Atlanta so it wasn’t price so much as it was food quality, ambience (felt like we were in the club) and lack of service. Never ever going back there…there’s at least 10 steakhouses in Atlanta I’d choose over them without blinking

Not from my experience, but we went to a ‘downstairs’ area I’m not sure if that’s considered main dining or not. It’s a cool vibe, walls are littered with famous people who have came through there before. And I’m talkin Shaq / Bill Clinton famous not ‘random TV actor’ famous.

Wednesday- Xperience (DJ Yung Fro & Party Boi Duece) (International Night)

Wednesday- Red Martini (R&B WEDNESDAYS) (Biggest party on a Wednesday)

Thursday- Traffik (DJ Ant Durty, DJ Omezy, & Party Boi Duece) - Thursday is an R&B party but they play the record once they let the DJ turn up

Thursday- Aura (Sexiest party and club)

Friday (Everywhere is lit on Friday)

-Suite Lounge (Grown folks)
-Mirza (Gwinnett)
-Tiger Tiger (Cobb County) Hood but fun
-Elleven45 (Grown ups Hood version of Tuesday Elleven45)
-Goldroom (It’s closed, they moved them to TRAFFIK on Friday now - Super Littt)

Man I took my girl to STK for her birthday. Shyt was weak as fukk and overpriced indeed. They will never see me again, not even for a free meal.
