Of course the ATL
Do not underestimate the lasting negative optics of all the shootings in a short span of time at Lenox. That alone has given the impression that she's lost control/support of not only APD, but also all the supporting county PDs. She only won narrowly because Midtown supported her on top of her southside base. They've gotten into that sweet spot of being the independent/undecided/swing vote in city politics. If Midtown believes she's lost control of crime, she's out.

She erred badly in firing the police chief instead of the officers involved in that protest fracas...but we know where that discussion leads so meh. Then she compounded that mistake by going radio silent when Kemp tossed a lawsuit at her over COVID restrictions(she and her family caught it so maybe her focus shifted, but still). She's never recovered from any of that. People are not going to simply ignore it all.

Breh give me a candidate who will run against her & beat her.

Y’all are creating these doom day scenarios in y’all head, I don’t see one candidate in the city primed & poised to run against her. She still is overwhelmingly popular and will have the support of the DNC behind her. Keisha ain’t going nowhere

Not to be overlooked.

She’s also still good with the business community which is a must to be Mayor behind the scenes

There will be a last minute push in the last hour to get Keisha to win again from ATL influencers like last time.. I’m saying that as an outsider. I don’t see how Keisha loses but maybe some ATL bruh can fill me in. She’s been getting a lot of criticism from people that don’t even live in Atlanta too smh.

She’ll be fine. She’s a celebrity mayor so she gets a lot of attention and criticism (some of it earned) but she’s good. The criticism from members of the ATL City Council after the little girl got shot outside of Phipps a few weeks ago was the most public criticism I’ve heard of her since she got elected

Nah she was getting it from all angles from the Floyd protests/Rayshard Brooks murder/APD fallout this summer. Hell they even protested outside of her house. I mean I actually like Keisha. However anyone saying she has a cake walk coming is underestimating how divided the city is

Ehhhhhh her alignment with Biden helps a ton in areas like Midtown that are more and more left leaning. So while she caught flack in the black community (rightfully so) her standing with white residents is likely very high.

Mayoral races in Atlanta are close, it definitely will be close but no one can give me a candidate they see the city rallying behind to beat her. Peter Alan? Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore? Noted Trump supporter Mary Norwood? I just don’t see it and the influential groups in ATL that matter (business leaders, educated & working black middle class, young voters)are for her. I don’t see how she loses those demos in addition to the fact that the culture of Atlanta supports her. I see a solid victory for her come reelection time

Any recommendations on any authentic Mexican restaurants that serve frozen margaritas?
