I don't think so which might be why they skipped ahead. No point creating a sequel when most people saw the Swedish versions. At least this one will be the first to market and get all the fans to watch.

how did Ed have prior military service if the NSA recruited him after a famous '02 hack? he would have been a kid then
never saw the girl w/ the dragon tattoo...so as a stand alone film, this was 
...they def. coulda cut shyt out make the pace better. Her brooding around surveying with her computer got kinda old...and she seemed kinda sloppy with it like how they were easy to trace her ass...but I did like the double cross one where she led dude to a dead end after he gets the tracker from her GF

just finish it, was wack and dry, the pace was fast but I can't say I enjoyed any of it, the first western movie worked because it had less characters and a simpler plot, now they throw espionage and Americans for no reason
