It's amazing how I, with absolutely NO college football watching experience, could tell we were doomed as soon as we picked him. I wish I could find the thread. After years of dealing with Goofy Manning (somehow eeking two bowls out of it, mainly due to D and running), they go for Goofier Jones

Let me tell u something.
I'm realizing now that it's not really the organizations fault..
It's the fan base. And the Giants culture.
The fan base wants a goofy white QB. And wants to have a certain culture based around being a white franchise.
For example, the fans argued to the death to give Daniel Jones a chance. Even though he looked like ass. He had a decent season and they were quick to gloat about it.
Now that hes kinda become a laughing stock, they had to jumped on the making fun of DJ bandwagon.
But now they are already on the devito bandwagon.
They wanted devito in as starter under the guise of "trying to tank". But they really want to see him do well for some goofy white boy, underdog story type sht.
Smh.
I say all that to say this... I have come to the realization that We ain't drafting a black QB and getting a black GM.
And we ain't changing the culture of NY football from old corny cracca sht... to getting sht poppin. And everybody wanting to be on our dikks smh

Facts... That is a fact.

That's specific to the Giants QB situation. Overall NY can't take not being the best so the process that actually builds strong teams (dealing with the reality of being garbage to increase your chances of getting generational players/solid picks) gets skipped to make "tweak this here, flip that there" moves.

continue to suck wanting to have a cac at QB by all means necessary
or do what's best for your organization and draft a brotha who is deserving. If he's good, they'll come around.
