But now that we're threatening to force policy changes msnbc's been bringing out a steady flood of LGBTs in an effort to change the subject and of course careful to use a black front person.

The nation's focus is on stopping anti-black violence, by the police or civilians. For the white media to be constantly forcing LGBT issues into that discussion is no different than saying, "All Lives Matter."

Just left a peaceful protest that included speeches by Stephen Jackston & Sheed Wallace in Philly. They brought out Floyd's younger brother man that shyt hurt seeing and talking to him.

It was impossible getting to manhattan today. Inwas over an hour late for work. Protestors downtown brooklyn, traffic o the bridge, then cyclists shutting down 6th ave completely in front of cops

Yeah there was pushback from the cops initially but they eventually backed off. There were two groups with differing ideologies leading these marches, one being christian, a lil more peaceful while the other being a lot more militant. They got into a heated debate over what to do with the statues, religious cats mentioned how they got Mayor Baldwin to agree to taking the statues down through legislation but the rest of us were not tryna hear it. Debate eventually got so hot that hands were thrown between the protesters

I think in ways protesting works because it gets your needs heard. Especially, peaceful protesting in numbers. Also, boycotting certain businesses also works in your favor. I feel when you hit your oppressor in the pockets that where the true power lies.
