I see some of you don't understand the purpose of these curfews.

They are not going around neighborhoods telling people to go home. They are making sure that city centers and commecial value centers are clear.

They are keeping us in the house so that Bloomingdales and Bergdorfs don't get touched.

People are not afraid to protest at the white house, the white house area has Zero housing within over a mile.

I clearly understand the point of the curfews. I’m speaking on DC in particular. The huge fence played as a pacifier of sorts because it provided enough distance to prevent the antagonism which was giving the crowd more energy.

shyt was being set ablaze when there was a curfew too. The difference now is the scare tactics have gone up and they’ve created better fortifications.

they are enforcing the curfews harder tonight.

there have been clashes between protesters and police, but most of them took place before it was dark out.


i actually think the curfews are a stupid idea if they care about looting. it centralizes the police in one spot around the protesters at a specific time, allows opportunists to strike throughout a city.
