The first Gears had players that died share the same voice lobby together


Yal don't understand what kind of environment this birthed within the game. Also, this was before Party Chat was even introduced.


You would die in the match and be on the death screen, you couldn't hear or talk to your teammates, but you could talk to the other players that died. The shyt talking was next level and definitely not for the faint of heart. The first Gears didn't have a respawn mode either, so when somebody died, they were mad as hell waiting for the next round to start.

All esports trash talk is trying to recapture GOW, COD and Fighting games.

But it all comes off as perfunctory, because there's no black/latino people in those games. So its just a buncha scrawny white kids calling people "dog water"
