Seeing darkseid as a one off villain would’ve made me more pissed than anything. shyt, seeing them ruin doomsday made me shake my head so I would’ve been livid with this shyt.

Considering they had Darkseid posted up in the same spot Steppenwolfe was it seems like they simply swapped him out, which means he'd have still caught the fade from Supes at the end. Which would've been lame and a waste of a great villain.

Snyder's original vision was a two part film. Obviously I myself am assuming, but for as big a geek he is, and his willingness to go against the grain, I think Darkseid would be giving nikkas the work for at least a whole film. I also doubt he'd kill off one of his universes most iconic villains. We literally saw a dude who is is not allowed to die in the comics killed twice in the "best" Marvel film.

Seeing as its clearly filmed (would need post-production but a lot of the pics/clips look like they have been at least 75% done) and everyone wants Snyder's full uncut take on Justice League, it will need WB to allow him to access the film and recut it to the best he can before he was taken off

Breh listen.. it's a whole new team of executives. They have a new DC lineup and outlook. If they felt it would be worthwhile to do so then maybe but that has never happened in Hollywood history to my knowledge where they go ahead and allow a director to come in and do post-production and release a new version of a film that has already been released. If he had finished it then maybe they do a director's cut but Whedon changed damn near the whole movie so I don't see it happening.
