Lebron did it in a better league against better players, so did Kobe.

Same way even tho MJ don’t got more rings than Bill Russell, his came against better competition, as basketball had developed further.

Look up the Phoenix Suns stats the year they went to the finals. Damn near identical to the 73-9 warriors.. So either the Suns were that good or the 73-9 warriors are overrated

nikka no :dead:

And the fact y’all believe basketball hit its apex in the 90s speaks the marketing :dead:

international play and as a global sport it was in its infancy.

boxing declined because it declined in popularity but we see all time greats forming all the time even now because they can take from older fighters and improve

basketball has gotten better. The players
Can do more. New prototypes is dropping every year :dead:

It’s just better play in general at every level

boxing is more international today and quality has declined.

At the old ass lakers team being better than OKC :dead:

No Kareem
No Cooper
Worthy got injured against Portland and wasn’t the same either
Byron Scott injured too.

OKC Ran through the west
Swept Dallas
Ran through Kobe and LA in 5
And the spurs who were a 66+ win team adjusted for the lockout, in 6 games

KD averaged 28/8 on 50% and 39% from 3
RUSS 24/5/4

you tweakin

They were young and green they weren't in their prime.

Or that was a damn expansion league like
LARRY, DR J and Magic said. They flooded that league with a lack of talent and MJ capitalized. Simple as that

90s is an ass era. And they all know it. It ain’t even better than 80s hoops, nor as physical or the 80s or the 70s

Young and Green but both putting up all star numbers and beating the leagues last 2 champions and the spurs who were DOMINANT that year, in no more than 6 games a piece. OKC being “green” is not true. They were high powered and young. Green teams don’t beat the spurs, lakers and mavs in 15 games combined.

And OKC was the betting favorite

Old heads are stuck in the past. We got seven footers that can guard all 5 positions, post you the fukk up and hit step back three’s but the apex of basketball was in the 90’s just stop.

Who are these 7 footers who can guard steph curry and ja morant then go and guard embiid?

Boxing is over 300 years old, basketball is not even 80. The more time that goes by, the better the game will get as players will do more. Lebron era will one day be dated too, but Jordan’s is right now.

if hoops does hit its apex, we are at least 50 years from that.
