I’m pretty sure that’s why there was the meta character deconstruction at the end before she left which was amazing and brought me to a point of near emotional nostalgia that I didn’t realize I had for this show before the threat of the original product being taken off the table occurred last season

The end of the 12th season left it up in the air if he'd be back.

shyt was terrible at the start. For the first time in the show's history it felt like I was watching people act. The chemistry was way off. The jokes were forced. Their reactions were unnatural. Almost seemed like a parody of sunny if that makes sense.

But then I noticed whenever mindy wasn't on screen, it was right back to classic sunny comedy. I liked mindy in the office but her comedy just doesn't work here. She had no chemistry with the other members and was throwing everything off. And what the fukk did this bytch do to her face?.....she looks weird as fukk.


But all the scenes without her were great. The conversation they had with sex doll Dennis was .......everytime they zoomed in on the dolls creepy ass face ........I feel like the sex doll was a genius idea. And even if dennis didn't come back I would have been cool with them keeping the sex doll for the entire season. Have the doll lowkey fukking with their heads every episode.....I actually hope they keep it around as a gag now. Overall the episode started weak but they redeemed themselves by the end. The way they made dennis's return somewhat heartfelt was dope. Just shows no matter how much they fukk with eachother, they still care for eachother deep down. And that's real friendship

Also this also shows how Dennis got the whole crew mentally dependant on him. Dude really is on some evil genius shyt. He's so deep into their heads they can't even function without him. He got the whole crew on some battered wife shyt......he knows all of their insecurities and manipulates them to keep them miserable. But you know he does that just because he's miserable himself and doesn't want to end up alone. If the other members grow and become better people, they'll eventually leave him behind. Dennis already knows he's probably never gonna be happy. But at least with the gang he'll always have some company in his misery.


The depth that all the characters have is what makes sunny GOAT level. You usually don't see that type of complexity in a comedy show. Sunny's character development is on the level of top level drama series. It's gonna be a sad day when this shyt finally ends. shyt is too genius
