The game "Rust" now randomly makes your character Black and white people ain't having it

Everybody should be all or this. I understand we like to make our own characters but this is a cool idea. Nobody complains when it's a white protaganist you have to be, or the character creation limits you to very few minority features.

I feel them on this.

Nobody wants to play as a polar opposite of their actual race.

There's a little bit of immersion that's lost if I don't get to play a minority in a game.

I would imagine it's the same for white people who have to play minorities.

PC master race brehs *CACS only*

all the kids on console screaming racist tones when they die in Call of Duty and you want to try and say this about us theirs a running meme on instagram right now as we speak of pictures of 12 year old white kids and the caption is "these are the kids that say racist shyt to you over PSN/XBL"

I noticed this last night but paid it no attention cause it effects NOTHING about the game and is random. They should just make the system like Reign of Kings where its more of a "create your character" like madden (but with way less options). Height, skin color, weight, etc.

Im almost positive both games on the same system so it should be doable.. Either way its a dumb thing to cry about.. The "white" male character in this game looks more asian than white anyway, didnt see anyone complaining about that

at the last picture in the article where the dude says that everyone would want to be white if given the choice, assuming it is a Black man and not some white guy pretending to be Black

People in the article's comment section were trying to figure out what he actually meant.

Either:
1. He's talking about white privilege and being in the most advantageous situation.
2. He actually wants to be white.
3. He's white pretending to be black. This is a common thing in Reddit.
