At the time BG3 won it's award, BG3 was only on PS consoles. So technically they won goty :manny:

It wasn't even remotely close to the best selling game of the year. "Zelda" sold 10 mill in 3 days. "Hogwart's Legacy" sold 15 mill, total.

"Baldur's Gate 3" sold like 20 mill, as well.

Nor was it some critical smash. MC has it at 84%. Cool game but it had zero chance to win against any of the heavy weights.

Naw, this is wrong. Hogwarts is the biggest selling game of the year so far. Its ahead of zelda
