Sure you can. Just look at the year before with Halo Infinite winning in its unfinished state.

The fact that MW2 isn't in that screenshot is hilarious, but it's a testament to who actually watches the TGAs and cares enough to vote.

Well, if half a Halo game deserved to win that vote last year anything goes at this point.

This is the longest they’ve ever taken to release/announce a new game…pretty odd, I’d be happy for fighting game fans if they get Tekken 8, SF6, and a new Mortal Kombat in the same year

I think the issue was people remember the world before internet rumors took off where you could get megaton announcements at these game events. Those days are long gone. Go into these things expecting to be blown away and you'll leave disappointed.
