So when this thread was made, I was like
Excited for a game awards hasn't been a thing in a long time.

And I'm not checking for it now, but the stream came across my youtube timeline so I just peeped and saw Kirby win.
And the guy who took the award sums up what I feel about the show

Then I seen SF6, and I have to say. I don't like it
I mean it looks ok, but it don't look like Street Fighter at ALL. It looks like Tekken. Like, exactly like a Tekken game.
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Tekken. But SF is the elder gawd. And its supposed to be innovating in the field, not just within the franchise.
I don't know wtf I just saw, and I don't know how I feel about it. But what I know I don't feel is like I'm getting the game I wanted.
I still might enjoy it, but I'm highly disappointed in the direction its going
