This breed of dogs arent safe around children or the elderly or disabled the risk outweigh the rewards, to own it one should have to undergo strict training and strict rules just like for driving license or gun permit they are dangerous and its exacerbated with owners who cant handle aggression

I grew up around this breed of dogs. I have pictures of myself as a child with them and have never been bitten once even by accident.

Exactly. Anything with an athletic build and strong jaw is considered a pit...I remember them showing the "can you find the pitbull" collage to legislators pushing BSL and they had no idea of what they were looking at.
