If we take what he said hypothetically, then white men would literally have to admit that this system in place is racist because it rewards white men for the things they're "good at" vs other groups of people. And they'd have to admit "picking yourself up by the boostraps" is bullshyt.
No, because as you are (hopefully) aware, there are far too many factors that affect that data that are results of the structure of the very fabric of this country. We are only about a half century removed from Jim Crow (let alone the 300 years before that) and the intentional destruction of black wealth and communities. Not to mention, we still hear CONFIRMED stories today about biased policing, hiring and sentencing practices. This doesn’t even include personal biases from people in power that affect everyday life.
Let us not forget the rich history of black inventors, just in America, largely responsible for today’s quality of life that we enjoy, who achieved these things with very few resources…. Only to have their ideas and royalties stolen from them, making other people rich.
Using that logic, the argument that white people are inherently more vile and evil seems to be a fair one too, right? The thievery and barbarism they exhibit apparently has no bounds. Manifest Destiny, amirite? But I wouldn’t dare say that with any sort of confidence without any scientific evidence, lest I be shunned from society for having such a ridiculous opinion.
If you can provide a scientific source that provides a direct relation between race and cognitive ability, we can discuss that. Until then, that opinion is simply a presupposition based on your own prejudice/biases.
