'The Flash' Adds Katee Sackhoff as DC Comics Villain

Katee Sackhoff has joined the cast of The Flash in a recurring role, EW has learned exclusively.

The Battlestar Galactica alum will play DC Comics villain Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith, a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives.

The actress will first appear in episode 405, interestingly titled “Girls Night Out,” which also serves as a mini-crossover with Arrow: Emily Bett Rickards will also pop up during the hour.

First episode description:

COMING HOME — With Barry in the speed force, Iris, Kid Flash, Joe and Vibe have taken over protecting Central City. However, when a powerful armored villain threatens to level the city if The Flash doesn’t appear, Cisco makes a risky decision to break Barry out of the speed force. However, the Barry that comes out isn’t the same Barry that went in.

This must be a Barry from a different point in time? Unless it's the same Barry who was just changed from being in the speedforce.

Either way, they need to make this work because Season 3 and Savitar being a Future Barry was TRASH.
