This episode is trying to be both ironically feminist and actually feminist and failing at both. Like, if you want to do a generic "girl power" episode when the women have the adventure while the men are disposed, just do it. All the lame millenial "ironic" call outs are annoying.
Caitlyn's conversation with Iris brings up a great point: Iris has, like, no friends. This chick had her almost step mother and Felicity, someone I'm sure she's never actually had a conversation with, at her bachelorette party.
