Started watching s2 on netflix, it started off pretty well

Only knock on it so far is episode 4 (fury of firestorm), they did a pretty bad job w/ the race angle on it despite firestorm not being the only black character on the show. The whole subplot about the other candidate being articulate and educated but turning out to be a hardened criminal and an angry black man stereotype

The fact that the only black super hero on the show needs a white patriarch figure who literally acts as his brain

The fact that his football coach was also a white patriarch wasn't lost on me, they even alluded to the professor being the "coach" in the dialogue. Ergo the other negro wasn't docile enough to be a good match for answering to the white man... Cisco even had a line where he all but said the other candidate was too uppity.

I thought is was a good season opener. I'm kinda disappointed Flashpoint only lasted an episode but I understand that there's only so many times you can see Barry lose his powers and regain them.

Hopefully, they tone down on the time travel/alternative reality fukkery this season because it's only making Barry look like an idiot. Fingers crossed, Wally wasn't only Kid Flash for that one episode and we get to see more of him, Jessie Quick too.

When Black Flash/Zoom comes back from the tomb and fukks up Flash (and maybe Rival) for their transgressions

In one timeline Cisco's rich as fukk. In the other he's evil. shyt I bet soon they'll got to a timeline where Cisco is actually Barry Allen/Flash
