I called this some pages back and Im saying it again..
ZOOM is the manifestation of a persons fears... If you notice He targets everybody's fear

Jay fears loosing his speed
Wells feared loosing his daughter (probably his wife died in an accident but daughter lived)
Barry fears not being fast enough .. not being a hero ... and some other stuff....

Zoom is like Scarecrow Toxin on steroids in a speedster

I'm not going to lie, that is a very interesting theory. Only thing is, we don't know too much from Zoom, aside from how he's portrayed in comics so Zoom could be anybody. If it does turn out to be true, I be the first one to rep you.

hear me out.. he didnt show when linda and barry faked the fight because nobody was scared... when she left work and said she scared ... there he was...
ep. 1 & 2 they talked about facing your fears... its all connected... they dropped hints all last year... this season is no different..

So.. i dont know who's under the mask... but i think i narrowed down the person's essence

remember the talk barry and joe had about eddie.... thats what zoom did.. dragged flash to the news and police station to say your hero aint shytt... just like how barry feels because he feels he's a failure.

oh yea... i thought caitlin worked at mercury labs?
oh... and e2 ollie dying almost confirms e2 barry died instead of nora....

In the comic book is the 52 version of Wally West superior to Barry? In the old comics I believe redhead white Wally was faster.

The current Walley doesn't even have his powers yet. Although they do show a glispe of him in the future as The Flash.

To follow up with this, I just read The Flash comic book issue 45. This is spot on! It also made me wonder why didn't Zoom just take Barry's powers when he had his chance...but then I realized the dude is beyond savage. He wants to make him suffer completely. Zoom is too overpowered....

Here's a direct quote from issue 44 on why Zoom didn't easily kill flash.
"I told you Xolani when a hero dies,They become a martyr. Statues are erected. Museums are built. Trust me I'm well versed on this subject. We're going to break the Flash. Strip him of everything that defies who he is. Make him no longer hero. Then, when I take his life,He won't be gone. He'll be forgotten. "

We don't know.

Wells did say Zoom "is human...or at least used to be" so it's kind of implied he might know more about him than he's letting on. Plus the fact that Zoom is after him might indicate that he has a history with Wells. But if he knows who Zoom is, he hasn't told anybody. Garrick definitely doesn't know who he is.

nothing beats the episode where they killed cisco, he told shawty his secret and he went back in time

swear to god that was the best episode of any show ive ever seen all time just for a show to be that consistent for 42-43 mins had me glued to my seat the entire episode

Zoom put them paws on Barry.
I will be curious to see just how they come up with the solution to beat Zoom because he is really over-powered.
And I am gonna need Barry to not be a cripple for more than two segments next week. I hate when characters on night-time TV shows lose the use of their legs...it just feels like a daytime soap opera trope.
Also thought it was kinda odd that Iris and Joe wouldn't be holding vigil at Barry's bedside. Especially Iris since that is what she did when Barry got struck by the lightning that gave him his powers.


I have always thought Zoom was Henry but I immediately thought the show was dropping a huge clue with that Robert Queen is Green Arrow stuff.

I didn't know they had Robert Queen as Arrow on Earth-2...

That's crazy. So yeah, that might mean Barry's dad on Earth-2 is Zoom. That would explain his sudden disappearance on the show when he was released from prison.

Here's the biggest thing I missed the first time:
At the end, Cisco shoots Zoom with the "Speed Dampener" dart. But Zoom still runs away at superspeed. So their whole plan to trap him by surprise was NEVER going to work.

Wells and Joe had the darts on him so it might've worked if he was hit twice and if he hadn't paralyzed Barry before he got hit
