Those cacs aren't hiring Majors for anything other than random thug #3 in movies moving forward even if he's vindicated.
Because I'm pretty sure they've already made the call to recast Kang. So Y'lan Noel (Who should be T'Challa) might get the call or possibly Trevante Rhodes.
Although since they've treated Kang like he's a joke by letting Ant Man pack him up they should give the role to someone less talented instead.
