Of all the things to get pissed off at the FBI for, I'm having trouble seeing how looking up shyt people are posting publicly is one of them.
If you're collecting all that data and you couldn't see Jan6th coming you're collecting too much data.

Anyone could see this could happen but the FBI MISSED IT.
Nah... Sounds like a money grab or an opportunity to broaden what they can collect.
this isn't even one of those slippery slope things where people say if you're not breaking the law then you don't have anything to worry about which is always nonsense BTW. i just have no expectation of privacy with my public posts, i chose to put that info out there. do i want the fbi listening to my conversations at home? hell no even though i'm generally a law abiding citizen. reason for or against something related to privacy rights and law enforcement should never be about whether you're law abiding or not though.as a generally law abiding citizen whose only had a couple of brushes with the law, I'm not really concerned with this.
They need to crack down on death threats, manifesto-writers and white supremacists tho. those of you who do dirt will likely eventually get caught
They let Jan 6th happen... That's severegross negligenceOf all the things to get pissed off at the FBI for, I'm having trouble seeing how looking up shyt people are posting publicly is one of them.
newsflash: someone already listens to your convos at home. i dont want that either but it already happens breh. Only way to remedy that is to not have any electronics in your home or on your person. i just know i'm not getting wrapped in any time of criminal activity because i closely monitor who i'm associated with and i dont do anything too crazy onlinethis isn't even one of those slippery slope things where people say if you're not breaking the law then you don't have anything to worry about which is always nonsense BTW. i just have no expectation of privacy with my public posts, i chose to put that info out there. do i want the fbi listening to my conversations at home? hell no even though i'm generally a law abiding citizen. reason for or against something related to privacy rights and law enforcement should never be about whether you're law abiding or not though.
