Older black people kept a border on there culture. My parents are in there 60's and 70's and say nikkas a lot in the house growing up. I cant recall them ever calling our mexicans neighbors or there asian co-workers nikkas. It simply wasn't something you did.

It's true. But black folk should also refrain calling other races that word and only use it amongst themselves, so if you seen ya man calling a Spanish or Indian or asian cat "his nikka," check him too. I stopped saying it in my early 20's and I am sad to say that the only reason I used to say it when I was younger is because it was just another slang word out here. To this day a black person calls me some variation of the n word at least 6-8 times a week and that's facts.

I'm reminded of a time I was in line for a club with some friends and this Mexican dude was with a few Black guy friends saying it almost every other word really loud and obnoxious and I'd had enough, turned around and asked the Black guys, " Yall let him call you that?" .They called me a Black bytch, told me to stfu, thats their friend, and then the Mexican dude said he has every right to say nikka just like any Black person. My friends and I started arguing with them and then one of them said they weren't even checking for Black bytches anyway so we should turn around and mind our own business bc who gives a fukk what we think.
