How can anyone take them seriously after they let Tommy Dreamer wrestle after as many concussions as he's had. I doubt those outside doctors are saying what he wants them to say. If he's been cleared by them why not give him one more shot or let him go do Indies.

If he wanted to leave and go elsewhere he could do that anytime he wants because he is an independent contractor. The only reason he would request a release instead of just walking out is to protect his relationship with WWE in case he wanted to return down the road.
However if he wants to wrestle then he should just walk out considering WWE told him that he likely won't ever be cleared. I'm sure he would make more money working in Japan or Mexico right now than working behind the scenes in WWE and Total Divas.
Then again... What if WWE wants him working behind the scenes for however long he wants a job? Tough spot and shyt luck for him all around to be honest.
