The 2 3rd period come from behind wins vs NJD and NYT were big for confidence after a couple games dropped
Need to play more like the team that won 8 straight. Back to it tomorrow with an easy January schedule. Don't make Holland force anything and give him until Feb/Mar to fill holes/ wish list - 1G, 3C, top 6 FWD to play With Drai and top 4D

Yeah that is fine. Only way a goal from a skate is called back is if a (offensive) player kicks it in on purpose.

Martin Jones started the game on Wednesday.
Wonder if Toronto or Edmonton will make a run at Markstrom. He has two more years at $6 million left on his deal. His power play save percentage and high danger save percentage is better than Hellebuyck. I could see him giving one of those teams a major boost down the stretch. Those teams actually score for their goalies so he won't have as much pressure as he does in Calgary behind that dreadful offense.
I went to the Sabres/Blue Jackets game tonight in Buffalo. I was shocked by how tame their fans were. Based on my knowledge of the Bills fan base I was expecting to see drunk people getting power bombed through flaming tables or something. It was a fun experience though.
There are reports saying that the Leafs will make a trade soon. The top names being linked to them now are Fleury and Vladar, because they lack the assets and cap space to pull off something bigger.
