Crosby imo intentionally doesn’t show his personality (a la Jeter), he was so well trained media wise that he’s a robot that way lol. McDavid legitimately is a bore and you can tell he hates any type of media he has to do.
yeah I agree, Bedard has actually shown plenty of personality from what I’ve seen. We have to keep in mind he just turned 18 like two months ago. He led all forwards in ice time in his first game at 18, wild. He’s already such a pro with media, you can tell he’s been dealing with it for years already

They hyped the shyt out of him. This is what marketing accomplishes when you actually try. Now, put that same effort into promoting the game's other stars/superstars like McDavid, MacKinnon, Pastrnak, Draisaitl, Tkachuk, Robertson, Matthews, the Hughes brothers, Pettersson, Thompson, etc.
And stop putting these tired ass teams from the past on national TV so much: Flyers, Red Wings, Kings, Ducks, Sharks, Preds, Blues and Wild. WAY too many games involving these garbage/boring teams on the schedule.
It should be like the NBA and pushing the most exciting players/teams above all else. That means Edmonton, Colorado, Toronto and Chicago should be on the most. Tampa, Florida, Vancouver (low key exciting because their defense has been so bad like Toronto
), Boston, Vegas and New Jersey in the next tier.
