Micheal peca and Dominik Hasek won’t lace them skates again though :mjlol:

moves like this based on nostalgia won’t help them to put a better roster on ice. They upgrade their coach but the management team still can’t build and construct a cohesive and balanced roster. The Sabres have no identity and purpose. They missed the playoffs for 13 straight seasons. Last time they made the playoffs, it was back in the 2010-11 season. Over the years, they let many good players go and saw these same players flourish on other teams.

The owner also seems to not care about the Sabres as much as he cares about the Bills. Both teams have the same owner, Terry Pegula btw.

Lol pegula is a horrible owner just lucky he lucked into jsh Allen

McDavid 5 assists :wow:
The Los Angeles Kings are the weakest playoff team in the west and third worst team the playoffs

They are barely better than the Washington Capitals and NY Islanders. Rangers, Hurricanes and Oilers all have an easy bye to the second round.

And historically, the oilers own the kings in the playoffs, they beat them the last two years in the first round and will easily beat them this year in round 1 again. Oilers have elite talent in their prime, the kings just have an older past his prime anze kopitar, older drew doughty, the overrated and underachieving Pierre-Luc Dubois and the unidimensional defensive specialist Philip Danault.

Kings are a defensive oriented team, have and they are good at defense and preventing goals( third best defensive team in the nhl when it comes to goals allowed against, the kings have allowed 215 goals, which is excellent in a high scoring season like this year )

Statistically, Cam Talbot has been decent this season with a respectable 27-20-7 record, a GAA (goals allowed against) of 2.50 per game and a good save percentage of .913, but it won’t be enough against Edmonton, because it’s just impossible to shutdown mcdavid/draisaitl/hyman/bouchard especially when they are on a powerplay situation. The oilers will destroy them on the powerplay.
