Who is picking the next movie?
Waiting for Mr. 15 min @track 1 to make the pick. We need a new movie every week so once Sunday comes he needs to make his pick
Who is picking the next movie?
the rules were i get to pick the next person to choose what movie to select.......they had to post a review in this thread......so i chose @MartyMcFly
and I already know what I'm picking
Clue (1985)..available on Netflix watch instant so everyone can get a hold of it.
In the midst of a dinner party at a New England mansion, a crime spree breaks out and its up to the guests to figure out who did it, with what, and and where.....and in a nice twist from the game, also why it was done. Starring Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn (RIP), Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull and Lesley Ann Warren (), Directed by Jonathan Lynn and co-written by Lynn and John Landis
See this on netflix all the time. One thing about movie club, I will watch movies that I will never ever even think about watching
Gonna watch it today :popcorn2:

i'll be honest, i turned this off after an hour. i had to take a shyt and just didn't have any interest in starting it back up when i was done. it wasn't funny (i didn't laugh or even crack a smile during the entire hour i saw), it wasnt interesting and it wasn't clever. the characters were bland when they weren't committing random acts of violence, which weren't particularly interesting either.
dinero was serviceable, but he really wasn't given much to work with in the script. he's pulled off comedic roles before but in those movies he was paired up with true comedians and even though this was supposed to be a comedy, there weren't any comedians in it so the humor just seemed to miss in most cases. tommy lee jones was wasted and everyone else just isnt worth writing about
this wasn't a great movie to start the club out with. the premise of reviewing shytty movies i thought was for the movie to be extraordinarily shytty so we would have enough content to crack jokes about it and make the process fun. the type of movie you could sit around with some friends over drinks and have a blast watching and making fun of it. struggling through this and trying to pay attention enough to write a review seemed like a chore. in the future we should try to stick to either side of the spectrum and watch really great or really shytty movies imo.
