I always liked swagger since his debut in the wwe.
Jack swagger is a legit athlete with a credible background for whooping ass.
Dude got the look, he can work in the ring, recognizable name & based off the crowd reactions I saw he wasn't treated like a nobody.
AEW got maybe 5 legit guys tops on the roster that can be considered as true main event guys.
They don't have the pedigree of the wwe so don't expect a whole lot.
That's a catch for AEW given what they got to work with.

Keep this in mind. Jack Swagger is probably around the same spot on the card as WWE had Lars Sullivan before the injury. Which guy has more talent?

The dude is a giant compared to everyone else and as long as he doesn't talk, can come off as a complete killer. I'd have rather they did this in the opening match and let Mox kill Omega in the end but they are also trying to get a stable over. Personally I dont know how well it will work but I'm damn sure interested in finding out which was the intended purpose. (I'd put Hager with Shawn Spears, MJF and Tully personally but hey).

Just goes to show that even guys like Roman would look incredibly good in AEW. WWE writing sucks without Ryan Ward. Dude even had the maharajah looking good.
