The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

Ok I'll bite, what exactly do these black feminist devils gain from destroying black family structure?

Solidify position in the white power structure, also they crave white men breh. Scandal. Show me a black feminist and i guarantee she a Scandal fan. You know the government had agents that infiltrated our community and burned it down from the inside. That is the black feminist. A devil. They haven't accomplished anything, haven't got any goals, they are only there to manipulate black women into hating their men.

So as opposed to the millions of black men currently incarcerated, the poverty, the drug affliction and the myriad of issues that disproportionately affect the black community stemming from the deep cultural psychological trauma that centuries of cruel oppression wrought, you're telling me that it's the scandal fans planted by the US government that are the problem?

Black people aren't the only race of people that experience poverty. The main issue is the father not being in the home and this is by design. Whether it be the court system or leaking residue of a black feminist devil that has possesed a black woman. The result is the destruction of the black family. All of sayings "i got my own", "black men ain't shyt" etc, it is thanks to the black feminist, that have poisoned the minds of our sistas. I'm not joking.

You mistake what i'm saying. Women having rights, equal pay etc is good. Black feminism isn't about any of that bullshyt, it's sole purpose is the destrution of black men and in conclusion the black family. All throughout the 90s you had young teens at home that got to watch black feminists(devils) on television, repeat over and over again that black men ain't shyt. Just like Black women support that bed wench Olivia Pope, they will support other Black women. That message and "sisterhood" is now embedded in their DNA, when they are with black men. When they go to other races of men they drop the attitude but with us that sub conscious message of "black men ain't shyt" pushed by the devil black feminist has been embedded into their DNA and now the black family is doomes. Thank God for Africa, the woman there aren't on that bullshyt and the family structure is intact.

OK...I usually try to stay out of the natural v.s real debates other than to big up natural hair becuase i think that should be the default hair style for black women.... but as the resident hairstylist I think it's time for me to clear up some misconceptions in here because some of y'all are doing the absolute most right now.

First of all: Y'all have got to...GOT TO stop using miss Naomi Campbell as an example when discussing weaves negative effects( i still lub you @Malta).... but that woman has worn weaves non stop since she got into the industry over 20+ odd years ago. Her hair has NEVER gotten a rest. Like literally NEVER EVER.
What most of the ladies are talking about in this thread is OCCASIONALLY getting a sew in to change up their look(who still uses glue? :scusthov:). Which if done correctly and taken out correctly should not cause any damage AT ALL. We're not talking about rocking weaves for months/years at a time and never giving our scalps a rest. Yes that type of thing does indeed cause traction alopeica.

I'll use myself as an example:

I mostly rock my natural hair. Actually about 7 months outta the year I rock my own hair either curly or blow dried out and flat ironed. But I also wear weaves ...mostly because I'm stylist. I see new styles daily and almost always get the itch to try new styles (lengths..curl patterns...haircuts etc) I also CANNOT use haircolor on my hair. Not even the non peroxide/anomnia "rinses". My hair texture is too fine. Any kind of color damages it. So on the rare occasion I get the bug to play with color or hilites. I go the SAFER route and throw in a few pieces for a few weeks. Itch satisfied with no damage to my natural hair.

All that said I have a long healthy hair of head that grows like a weed. (I'm about to post pics)
i also need to point out that not all of us "hair hatted hooligans" are walking about with stank weaves and bald heads with no edges underneath. :aicmon:

The thing about me that makes me prefer to rock my own hair is that I'm a swimmer. 6 days a week I'm in the pool swimming laps. Because of that have to shampoo or at the very least co-rinse pretty much daily to get the chlorine out of my hair. so yes my hair always smells fruity and delicious :blessed: BUT it makes it hard for me to keep a sew in weave looking tight because I shampoo so much that after 2-3 weeks it's loosed up so much and starting to look . so I only keep them in a few weeks at a time then go back to my natural hair.

Pics of my hair:

quickly blow dried..about to flat iron:

Last point y'all gotta stop using that tired rhetoric of "you're sowing another woman's hair in you're scalp" :beli:
you guys are so clueless. "HUMAN HAIR" in this industry doesn't necessarily mean it's actually from a human being. IN FACT more times than not...the average girl you see walking around isn't actually wearing human hair at all. That cheap hair from beauty supplies that they label "human hair" is actually SYNTHETIC BLENDS (Kanekalon..Toyokalon etc) the companies are allowed to label it "human hair" if it can withstand the heat of flatirons/curling irons and behaves like human hair. But it's mostly not.
Unless the chick has ordered the pricey stuff directly from a human hair distributor and paid upwards of $200-$600 for the hair... it's pretty unlikely that she's actually got 100% "human hair" on her head. Just sayin.

ok that's my .2 cents gotta run ...i'll Address questions/comments after work. ;)

black feminism is poison, it's like a crack in the ying yang. If i met a black woman and she annouces she a black feminist, automatically she in the bushes. :camby:
